Sydnie Vanek, a junior at Clovis High, won the girls long jump title with a wind-aided leap of 20-8.50 (6.31m) in the sixth round at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Vanek became the first Clovis female athlete to secure a long jump crown since Jenna Prandini in 2010-11.
