Sydnie Vanek, a senior at Clovis High in California, won the girls long jump with a wind-legal leap of 19-3 (5.86m) at the Gateway to Track and Field Invitational at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Vanek also triumphed in the 200 meters in a wind-legal 25.43 seconds for the Cougars.
