Christopher Caudillo and Nathaniel Avila of Clovis High in California took the top two spots in the Central Section Division 1 boys final at Woodward Park in Fresno. Caudillo clocked 15:18.44 on the 5-kilometer layout and Avila finished second in 15:25.19 for Clovis, which placed fourh overall with 83 points.
